ECU offers members several checking account options, each with their own benefits. We can help you find the one that fits your needs.

YOUR ACTION IS REQUIRED!!
On August 15th new federal regulation went into affect which now requires members to sign a consent form to participate in Overdraft Protection (ODP) plans for ATM and one-time Point-of-Sale Debit/Checking Card Transactions. ODP protects your checking account when you don't have the funds in your account to cover retail transactions. If you have not Opted-In for the ODP plan, your checking account is not covered for overdraft as it was in the past.
Below you will find information on how to Opt-in.

To continue your ODP privileges for ATM and Debit/Checking card transactions, you must do one of the following:

• Click here for the ODP OPT-IN form. Complete the form and fax it to Member Services at 254-751-5876, take the completed form to your nearest ECU office, or mail it to Member Services at Educators Credit Union, PO Box 20728, Waco TX 76702-0728;
• Stop by any ECU office and complete the form; or
• Call our Member Services department and we will mail or fax you a form.

REGULAR CHECKING
This is our basic checking account.

DIRECT CHOICE
This checking account offers a number of benefits, including no minimum balance and no monthly service fees.

COLLEGE CHOICE
Designed for college students, ages 18-25.

CLUB 55/PRIME CHOICE
Our Club 55 checking is designed for our members 55 and over. 

MONEY MARKET
An investment checking account that has limited access, but offers a higher rate of return.
