Wire Transfer

When money must be sent and received at a specific time and place, use ECU's Wire Transfer service.

We can send funds to both nationwide and international financial institutions; also available is funds transfer via Western Union. There is a $15.00 fee for outgoing domestic wires; for international wire fees please contact the Credit Union. The Western Union wire fee is $20.00 per $10,000.00 increment. Due to new regulations we can no longer accept wiring request via mail or a fax; all outgoing wires must be done in person, for documentation the member should furnish complete wiring instructions in writing. For your wire to be completed the same day, instructions must be received before 2:30 p.m. for financial institution wires and 4:00 p.m. for Western Union wires. Please remember to allow time for verification of funds and processing to ensure your transaction can be completed on time.
