Teen's Education in Account Management
After opening an ECU TEAM savings account, you can open a TEAM checking account. To open the checking account, you must be sixteen years of age, have a state issued photo identification card or driver's license, and your social security card.
Opening the account you must make an initial deposit of $50.00; you will receive your first 50 checks free. Interest is earned on accounts with a balance of $500.00 or more. A fee of $6.00 will be charged to your account for each check *returned because of insufficient funds.
*TEAM accounts are not covered by the $500.00 Overdraft Protection Program.
