IT'S NEVER "TO EARLY" TO SAVE FOR RETIREMENT; WHICH IRA IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

TRADITIONAL IRA allows your to defer taxes on earnings until withdrawn, also contributions may be deductible in the year for which you make them. 

You are eligible to contribute to the TRADITIONAL IRA if you are younger than age 70 1/2 for the entire tax year and you or your spouse has earned income.

RETIRING? Your employer retirement plan may be eligible to be rolled over to your TRADITIONAL IRA.

ROTH IRA allows only nondeductible contributions but distributions after a five year waiting period can be TAX-FREE.

Regardless of age, you are eligible to contribute to a ROTH IRA if you or your spouse has compensation and your modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) does not exceed a certain limit.

COVERDELL EDUCATION SAVINGS ACCOUNT (CESA) is a good tool to use for paying qualified education expenses. Contributions to CESA's can be made by any interested party, they are not tax deductible; however, distributions used to pay qualified education expenses are federal income TAX FREE and penalty free.

Even though you are already participating in your employer retirement plan, you may want to consider an IRA. Available in an IRA SAVINGS ACCOUNT or an IRA CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT (CD).
