 Educators Credit Union is a community credit union, serving residents of McLennan, Bosque, Falls, Hill, Coryell and Lampasas counties. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in these counties.
Opening a Savings Account is the first step in becoming a Credit Union Member. Regular savings accounts must maintain a minimum balance of $25.

No matter what your age, becoming an ECU member and opening an account is easy! Simply complete a membership application today, or call Account Services at 254-776-7900 or 800- 596-5460; hours are Monday thru Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Important Information About Procedures For Opening a New Account
In accordance with Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act, Educators Credit Union is required to obtain a copy of the documents used in identifying our new members. This message is being provided to you for adequate notice given under this act.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that allows us to identify you. We will also ask to see and make a copy of your driver's license or other identifying documents.
As with other documentation and records, your information will be protected by policy and procedure in accordance with The Privacy Act.
Educators Credit Union is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration.
