Educators Continues To Reach Out To The Community
 ECU, along with News Channel 25, began the Educators Student Choice Award in September 2002. The purpose of this award is to acknowledge classroom teachers for the "difference" they make in their students' lives. Teachers may be from either public or private schools and are nominated by their students. We encourage students to submit the name of a teacher who has been a positive influence in their life.

Educators Awards Scholarships
When Educators Credit Union began the Scholarship Program, two (2) $1,000.00 scholarships were awarded to students who were ECU members (or a member's dependent). In 2005 the number of scholarships was increased to three (3). This year there were so many applications from highly qualified students that ECU is proud to award $1,000.00 scholarships to four (4) deserving young people. Applicants are judged based on their scholastic achievement and community involvement. The scholarship is to be applied toward the cost of tuition at the college of their choice.
